Naomi M. Hamilton

Age 78, of Minerva, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017.  She was born August 25, 1938, in Corinth, WV, a daughter of the late Ernest Lee and Nellie (Felton) Ashby, and had been a resident of the Waynesburg area since 1959.  Naomi loved her dogs, including her current Brandy.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hamilton, Sr., on August 5, 2004, two brothers, James and Grant Ashby, and two sons-in-law, William Dray and Walter Burnworth III.  Naomi is survived by two daughters, Donna (Charles) Binkley and Penny Burnworth, and one son, Edward (Tammy) Hamilton, Jr.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linnie (Walter) Seaburn.  Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Matt Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Friends may call Wed. 6-8 p.m.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneral homes.com
