Nancy Kay Rogers

Age 85, of Magnolia, passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2024.  She was born Sept. 12, 1938 in Dover, a daughter of the late Frank and Ruth (Swinehart) Walton, and had been a Magnolia resident over 50 years.  Nancy was a 1956 graduate of New Philadelphia High School.  She was retired from The Timken Company in New Philadelphia where she was a steelworker and made helicopter parts.  At the age of 71, Nancy received her Black Belt in Martial Arts.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Gary E. Rogers, Jr., and three brothers, James "Mick" Walton, Terry Walton, and Thurman "Toby" Walton.  Nancy is survived by her granddaughter, Samantha Sanders, two great-granddaughters, Alyssandra and Jocelyn Brady, and two brothers, Bruce Walton and Gilbert "Dale" Walton.
