Obituary

Myron R. "Pete" Nedrow,

Age 85, of Mineral City, passed away in Hennis Care Centre in Dover on Tues., Dec. 31, 2024.  He was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Canton, a son of the late Carl and Hester (Varadi) Nedrow.  Pete retired from Republic Steel in 1999 and was a member of Mineral City United Methodist Church.  He farmed all his life and particularly enjoyed canning peppers.  Preceded in death by his wife, Linda Nedrow, on Oct. 16, 2024, two infant sons, Robbie and Scott, his sister, Rosemary Stellick, and his brother, David Nedrow.  Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve (Denise) Nedrow; three grandchildren, Wyatt (Adriann) Nedrow, MaKayla Nedrow, and Clayton Nedrow; three sisters, Della Paul, Norma Miller, and Jane Beatty; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Tues. at 11 am in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Smith officiating.  Interment in German Cemetery.  Friends may call Mon. from 6-8 pm in the funeral home and Tues., one hour before the service, from 10-11 am, in the funeral home.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
