Miriam E. Lebold,

Age 103, of Canton, passed away Fri., Oct. 31, 2025.  She was born Sept. 28, 1922, in East Sparta, a daughter of the late Lester and Ella (Barnes) Shew.  Miriam was a 1940 graduate of Canton Twp. High School and retired from East Sparta Ceramic where she was an inspector.  She was a member of Howenstine Christian Church, attended the Mineral City Senior Center and enjoyed playing cards.  Preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Lebold, one sister, Marjorie Zollins, and two brothers, Kenneth and Leonard Shew.  Survived by three nephews, Gary Zollins, Ron Shew, and Sanford Shew.  Services will be held Mon, Nov. 10, 2025 at 11am in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home.  Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.  Friends may call one hour before the service, from 10-11am, in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Miriam's memory may be made to: Howenstine Christian Church, 6090 East Sparta Ave. SE, East Sparta, OH 44626.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
