Obituary

Minnie Snyder-Queen,

Age 92, of North Canton,  took her paint and brushes to be with her lord to help him paint the beautiful sunsets that we will enjoy in the future, An avid artist, Minnie found inspiration in everything she saw. Born Feb. 13, 1921, in Colver, Pa. to the late Daniel and Eva (Dettwiler) Ondrizek, she had been a resident of the North Canton area since 1942. Minnie was a member of First Christian Church, Delta Chapter #539, OES, which she served as Worthy Matron in 1972-73, and an Honorary Member of Jobs Daughters. Preceded in death by her husbands, Marlin Snyder, in 1982, and Paul Queen, in 2003, daughter Linda Bevan, one great grandson, two brothers and two sisters. Survived by daughter, Judith Elsass, of North Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Judy(Miller) Snyder, of North Canton; three sisters, Jane Winger, Maxine Capran and Gail Sweithlem, all of Spring Church, Pa: seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren. Lon, David and Judith would like to give special thanks to Lucy and Angela for the love, compassion, and dignity you gave to Spanky, you made it possible for her to be at home.  According to her wishes there were no calling hours.  Internment in North Canton Cemetery.  Family and Friends are asked to gather to Celebrate the Life of Minnie on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at noon at the Lake Cable Club House,  5725 Fulton Dr. NW  Canton, OH 44718.
