Mildred Shaffer
Age 96, of Massillon, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018. She was born August 2, 1921 in Massillon, a daughter of the late Enos and Mary Louise (Winholt) Hartong, and was a life resident. Besides her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence "Mac" McAllister and Samuel Shaffer. Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey L. Shultz officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday 9:30-10 a.m. before the service.
