Michael L. Falbo, Jr.
Age 79, of Magnolia, passed away Sunday in Aultman Hospital. He was born in Yorkville, OH, a son of the late Michael and Mamye Columbo Falbo, Sr., and had been a Magnolia resident since 1957. Michael was a 1948 graduate of Yorkville High School. He retired in 1988 from Republic Steel Corp., after 23 years service, where he was an inspector. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Morges. Michael served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by three sisters, and two brothers, Louise Burelli, Edith Large, Aggie Duck, Frank and Jon Falbo. Survived by his wife, Alfa Falbo, with whom he celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary on Feb. 19th; one daughter and son-in-law, Tami and John Warner, of Malvern; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Don and Denise Falbo, of Martins Ferry, OH, and Lawrence Falbo, of Shadyside, OH; three grandchildren, John Michael Warner, Melissa Warner, and Jessica Young and her husband, Christian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Morges with Fr. Thomas Marut as Celebrant. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
