Matthew S. Diamond,

Age 37, of Massillon, passed away Thur., Sept. 12, 2024.  He was born Mar. 6, 1987, in Canton, a son of Carla and Brad Fulk and Scott Diamond.  Matt was a 2005 graduate of Canton South High School and also graduated from Stark State College with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.

We will remember him as a funny, football loving family man with his dog at his side. He could always be found cheering on his favorite Ohio sports teams. He spent a lot of time with family fishing at the farm he grew up on. With family and friends there were always lots of laughs and joking around. He had fierce loyalty and loved wholeheartedly.

Preceded in death by his grandfather, Homer Diamond, his grandmother, JoAnn Giaquinta, and his uncle, Chuck Giaquinta.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Trevor Doll, and their children, Landen and Ella; two grandmothers, Donna Diamond and Claudia Diamond; and his beloved dog, Luca.

A Memorial Service will be held Thur., Sept, 19, 2024, at The Church of the Lakes.  Family and friends may call from 2pm-3pm before the 3pm service, with a meal to follow in the church. In lieu of flowers, if so inclined, donations could be made to the family to help with final expenses. The Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
