Mary Ulik

Age 89, of Canton, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015, in the home she shared with her sister, Jessie Wise.  She was born in Adena, OH, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Majewski) Ulik, and had been a Canton resident since 1944.  Mary was a 1943 graduate of Adena High School.  She retired in 1983 from The Timken Co., after almost 40 years service, where she worked in the Bearing Plant as a cone inspector. Preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley and John Ulik.   Surviving besides her sister, Jessie Wise, are five nephews, Gary (Karen) Wise, John (Susan) Wise, Bill (Diane) Ulik, Marty Ulik, and Sean (Melissa) Ulik, and two great nieces and a great-nephew, Tina (Aaron) Edwards, Carisa Wise, and Jon (Sarah) Wise.  Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  Friends may call Tuesday one hour before the service from 12-1 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory my be made to the Stark County Humane Society, PO Box 7077, Canton, ON 44705.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
