Mary H. Pickens

age 87, of Magnolia, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022.  She was born May 28, 1935 in Knoxville, TN, a daughter of the late Avil Morton and Georgia May Maples, and had been a Magnolia resident since 1966.  She was a 1953 graduate of Harrisonville Schools in Meigs County OH.  Mary had helped her husband on their farm for many years, and had raised German Shepherd puppies for 33 years.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Oltie C. Pickens, on August 2, 2018.  She is survived by two daughters and one son, Peggy Jo and Douglas Dix, Beth Ann and David Halley, Jr., and Jerry Pickens and Jene' Michalek, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Mike Pozzuto officiating.  Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
