June Patterson

Age 90, of Magnolia, passed away Sun., Sept. 5, 2021.  She was born May 27, 1931 in Braxton County, WV, a daughter of the late Alfred and Susan (McPherson) Steele, and had been a Magnolia resident since 1950.  She was a 1949 graduate of Burnsville, WV High School.  June was a member of the Sandy Valley Baptist Temple.  She loved to spend time with her family.  Mom loved her grandkids almost as much as she loved those Woody's coneys.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Hugh A. Patterson, on May 7, 2007, a granddaughter, Kerri Phillips, and a brother, Freddie Steele.  She is survived by one daughter and one son, Peggy Patterson and Steve Patterson, four grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, Kelli (Brian) Zaleski, and their children, Madison, Logan, and Marissa, Kristi (Joe) Bifolchi, and their children, Andrew and Gracie, Kerri's children, Tyler, Makenna, and Tristin, Beau (Jen) Patterson, and their children, Colton and Mason, and Misty (Dave) Litzinger and her children, and one sister, Nancy (Paul) Kalinowski.

A private graveside service will be held Tuesday in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville with Pastor Daniel Sunde officiating.  There will be no visitation.  The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
