Mary E. Muckley

Age 109, a resident of St. Luke Lutheran Home, passed away there Friday, May 2, 2014.  She was born in Magnolia, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Luella (Wadsworth) Muckley and stepmother Cora (Howenstine) Muckley, and was a life resident of Canton.  Mary was a 1924 graduate of McKinley High School and also a graduate of Canton Actual Business College.  She retired in 1970 from Canton Wood Products, after 23 years service, where she was a bookkeeper, and previously had been a statistical typist at the Hoover Co. for 19 years.  Mary was a 70 year member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, and a 67 year member of Canton Chapter #190, Order of Eastern Star (now part of Legacy Chapter #596).  She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Evelyn Muckley, and Jerome and Mary Muckley, nephew Richard Muckley, niece Nancy Hooper, and aunt Mae Allen.  Survived by nieces and nephews, Edwin (Darlene) Muckley, of Strongsville, Carolyn (Leroy) Snyder, of Massillon, Doris Blythe, of Alliance, Mary Ann Dahlheimer, of East Canton, Jim (Jean) Muckley, of Louisville, and Kay (Jim) Perry, of Massillon; many great nieces and nephews, and great-great- nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor C. David Morgan officiating.  Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.  Friends may call Wed. 10-11 a.m. before the service.  Legacy Chapter #596, O.E.S. will hold services at 10:45 a.m. Wed.  The family wishes to express their appreciation to the St. Luke Nursing Staff in Twin Hills, Crossroads Hospice, and Drs.
