MARY ANNE HOSMER, Age 56, of Canton, passed away Tues. evening, Oct. 23rd. Born in Canton, a daughter of William Blackmer, Sr., and the late Violet Blackmer. Mary Anne was a 1974 graduate of Louisville High School, the Timken Mercy School of Nursing, and received an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Stark State College. She was a Registered Nurse with the Ohio Department of Health. Preceded in death by her brother, George Blackmer. Survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Michael Cernava, of North Canton, Kimberly and Douglas Schneider, Jr., of Brook Park, OH, and Michelle and Aaron Speakman, of Paris; her father, William Blackmer, Sr. and his special friend, Deloris Shumaker, of Louisville; one sister and brother-in-law, Vera and Dale Fryer of Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Beth Blackmer, Jr., of Carrollton; former husband and friend, David Hosmer; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. According to her wishes, following cremation a memorial service will be held Sat., Nov. 3, at 2 p.m. in Israel's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 376 Paris Ave. SE, Paris, OH 44669, with Pastor Sue Rodgers officiating.
