Mary "Betty" Dye Age 97, a resident of the Canton Christian Home, passed away there Monday afternoon. She was born in East Canton, a daughter of the late Foster and Elizabeth (Schneider) McClelland, and was a life resident of this area. Mary was a 1933 graduate of East Canton High School. She was retired from Acme Sand & Gravel, where she was office manager. Preceded in death by her husband, Russell Dye, a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph "Bud" and Ann McClelland, and her sister, Marian Lehman. Survived by her brother-in-law, Jack Lehman, of Canton, and five nephews, Kent (Teresa) McClelland, Kevin (Marie) McClelland, Todd (Sheila) McConnell, Brad (Faith) Lehman, and Scott (Betty) Lehman. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Forest Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Ron Iwanusa officiating. There will be no calling hours.
