Mary L. Brunk

of East Sparta, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021.  She was born June 7, 1936 in East Canton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Wilson) Sanford, and resided most of her life in East Sparta.  Mary was a member of the Mineral City Church of the Nazarene.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Gilbert D. Brunk, on July 7, 2020.  Mary is survived by three daughters, Shirley Rowley Malavite and Thomas Malavite, Carol and Mark Fitch, and Linda and Robert Redleski, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.  A private family graveside service will be held Tuesday at one p.m. in German Cemetery in Mineral City with Pastor Karma Burton officiating.  There will be no calling hours.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
