Mary Balasko

Age 101, of Canton, passed away Sat., May 29, 2021.  She was born August 24, 1918 in Sharon, PA, a daughter of the late John and Rose (Kiryan) Balasko, and was a life resident of Canton.  Mary retired in 1981 from Hercules Engines, and was a member of Christ the Servant Parish.  In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Balasko.  She is survived by two sisters and a brother, Ann Balasko, JoAnne (Dennis) Shaw, and Nick (Ida) Balasko, one niece, Michelle (James) Crim, and their children, Donovan Shaw, Isabella and J. J. Crim, three nephews, John Balasko, Dennis (Theresa) Shaw, Jr., and Steven Shaw.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat. at 10 a.m. in Christ the Servant Parish with Msgr. Lewis Gaetano as Celebrant.  There are no calling hours.  Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
