Marvin L. Beatty 1938-2015

Age 76, of Nelsonville, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015.  He was born in Rose Township, Carroll
County, OH, a son of the late James and Anna (Raric) Beatty, and resided in Mineral City most of his life.  Marvin was retired from Laborers Local #134 in Newcomerstown.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter and poker player.  He also loved his boxer dogs.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brad Beatty, and two brothers, Dale, at a young age, and Glen, killed in action in 1950 in the Korean Conflict.  Survived by his daughter, Faye Moore,  his son, Mark (Marlee) Beatty, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlene Pritchard; and four brothers, James Beatty, Gary (Judy) Beatty, twins Earle (Jane) Beatty, and Merle (Suzie) Beatty.  Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev.
