Marlene S. (Drayer) Ware

was born on January 6, 1949, to Cecil and Mary Drayer. She passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, at the age of 76.  She outlived both of her parents along with her brother Noel and sister Betty.  Marlene loved her three children Steve, Amy, and Michael. She also enjoyed any time that she could visit with her four grandchildren.  She also had one great-granddaughter.  Marlene had a unique sense of humor and a personality that you couldn't forget once you met her. To say that she was feisty would be an understatement.

Many thanks to her caregivers at Legends Care Center, especially Jenn who grew to have a special bond with Marlene over the years. Marlene proved to have a fighting spirit and a strong will which served her well in fighting a decades long battle with MS. She has left us with many memories that will last a lifetime. May her soul rest in peace.
