Marjorie Locker

   Marjorie Stidham Locker went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Alma Stidham, daughter Peggy Fletcher, an infant brother George, sister and brother-in-law Gladys and Edgar Grodhaus, daughter-in-law Rachel, grandson Jacob L. Bailey, great-granddaughter Starlly Marie German, and nephew Bruce Grodhaus.

Marjorie owned and operated Locker’s Restaurant in downtown Canton for a number of years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Magnolia.

   Marjorie’s greatest accomplishments and the joy of her life were her children Glen (Mimi) Locker, Peggy Fletcher, Trena (Gordon) Bailey, Lisa Locker, and Matthew Locker. They gave her 20 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a loving nephew Barry Grodhaus.

   She will be laid to rest by her loving parents. As were her wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. A private graveside will take place. Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
