Marjorie M. (Spring) Bauer Age 85, of Beach City, passed away Wed., Feb. 29, 2012, in Affinity Medical Center. She was born in Canton, a son of the late Robert L. and Vera (Fasnaught) Spring, returned to Beach City in Nov. of 2009, having spent many years between Canton and Mission, TX. Marjorie was a 1944 graduate of Lehman High School and attended Ohio University and Malone College. She had been Executive Secretary for the Highlander Class International Association. Preceded in death by her husband, Frederick J. Bauer, on Aug. 1, 2002, son, Jack F. Bauer, on Feb. 4, 2010, and two brothers, Merle and Donald Spring. Survived by two sons and three daughters-in-law, Robert & Sue Bauer, of Westerville, OH, Harold and Stefanie Bauer, of Beach City, and Cherie Bauer, of Avon Lake, OH; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, John (Lissa) Bauer, and their daughter, Jossalyn, Steven (Gillian) Bauer, and their son, Jack, Jessica Bauer, Julia (Benjamin) Senff, and their daughter, Marie, Frederick (Sarah) Bauer, and Charlotte Bauer; two sisters-in-law, Betty Spring and Jean Spring, both of Canton; also numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Sat. at 2 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Gifford officiating.
