Marie A. Rosia

Age 94, of Waynesburg, passed away Sat., Sept. 23, 2017.  She was born August 7, 1923 in Maximo, OH, a daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Upperman) Tournoux, and had been a Waynesburg resident since 1961.  Marie was a member of St. James Catholic Church, where she volunteered cleaning at the church school and took care of the flower beds.  Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Wilbur L. Rosia, on April 27, 1992.  She is survived by four daughters, Marilyn (Robert) Brahler, of Louisville, Marlene (Robert) Weekley, of Canton South, Marsha (Ronald) Hoffman, of Solon, OH, and Mary (Martin) Weber, of East Sparta; four sons, Wilbur (Watsna) Rosia II, of North Canton, William Rosia, of Waxhaw, NC, Mark Rosia, and Maurice "Reece" (Wendy) Rosia, all of Waynesburg; two sisters, Helen McMillan, of Canton, and Carol (Dave) Renie, of SC; two brothers, Joseph (Bernice) Tournoux, of Maximo, and Bernie (Shirley) Tournoux, of Hartville; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr.
