MARGARET LIOTTI SALAS,
age 86, of Waynesburg, passed away Sat. evening. Born in Canton, a daughter of the late Oscar and Mary (Corey) Lama, she had been a resident of Canton and North Canton most of her life and Waynesburg since 2012. She was a 1949 Graduate of McKinley High School, retired in the 1980s from United Cerebral Palsy after 25 years service where she taught ceramics and took care of the young adults and was a member of St. George Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Enos Salas, on Apr. 7, 2000, two sons, Michael and Charles Liotti, three brothers, two sisters, and her granddaughter, Tiffany Farber. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Catherine and Bill Hull, and Laurie and Joe Farber; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Kathy Liotti; 13 grandchildren and their spouses; three great grandchildren and their spouses; two great-great grandchildren; and her beloved dogs Rocky and Molly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Thur. at 1 p.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service, from 12-1 p.m. in the church. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.
