MADELINE M. DALTON,
Age 83, of Waynesburg, went to be with the Lord Tues. afternoon in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. Born in Cambridge, OH, a daughter of the late Wilmer and Mary McConahay Mitchell, she had been a Waynesburg resident for 59 years. Madeline attended McKinley High School, was a member of Little Country Church and volunteered at Dalton Trucking. She was a former employee of the Timken Co., Merit Plastics and Arnold's Tavern. Preceded in death by her husband, Jim Dalton, on Sept. 2, 1988, two sons, Bobby and Larry Dalton, and four brothers, James, Boozie, Sonny, and Jack Mitchell. Survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carol and Richard Kolp, of West Mansfield, OH, Linda and Lou Chadwick, of Greenwood, SC, and Jessie Simmons, of Waynesburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Patty Dalton, of Waynesburg; two sisters, Marilyn Mitchell and Laura Lou Mitchell, both of Canton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lee and Helen Mitchell, of Beloit, OH, and Kenny and Laura Mitchell, of Canton; and 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Jacob. Services will be conducted Sat. at 11 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. William Carter officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Fri. from 6-8 p.m. The family would like to express their appreciation to everyone at Hennis Care Centre for the love and care they gave to Madeline.
