Lucy R. Rizer Age 89, of Somerdale, passed away Monday morning in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Long Shore, VA, a daughter of the late Timothy and Dovie (Stillwell) Dalton, and had been a Somerdale resident most of her life. She and her husband had operated Aaron's Carry-Out in Somerdale for many years. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Aaron J. Rizer, on Aug. 18, 1991, a brother, John Dalton, and two great-grandchildren. Survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Frances and John Boyd, of Somerdale, Edna Anderson, of Dover, Janet Sowers, of Zoarville, and Brenda and Leroy Cutshall, of Somerdale; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Cheryl Rizer, of Somerdale; one sister, Zora Sipe, of North Canton; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and one soon to be born great-great-granddaughter. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Peter Price officiating. Interment in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens.
