Louise Dotson
Age 73, of East Sparta, passed away Friday morning in Aultman Hospital. She was born in Spencer, WV, a daughter of the late Albert and Nettie Brown Puckett, and came to Canton in 1966, resided in Bolivar six years, and the past year in East Sparta. Louise was a member of Sandy Valley Church of God, where she helped feed the homeless every Friday as part of the church outreach ministry, and also was the leader of the OASIS Group of the church. She was a member and leader of TOPS #1128 at North Industry. Survived by her husband, Jack C. Dotson, Sr., with whom she celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 9th; three daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie Dotson, of Canton, Charlotte Hartman, of North Industry, and Brenda and Jim Hester, of East Sparta; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack C. and Sue Dotson, Jr., of Waynesburg, and David and Laura Dotson, of East Sparta; one sister, Rosie Freeland, of W. Palm Beach, FL; one brother, Charles Puckett, of Waynesburg; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sandy Valley Church of God with Pastor Clifford Hughes and Pastor Steve Stewart officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Monday 5-8 p.m. AT THE CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Louise's memory may be made to Sandy Valley Church of God, 11281 State Route 800 NE, Magnolia, OH 44643.
