Louis B. Kiba, Sr.
Age 84, of Rittman, went home to be with the Lord Sat. evening, surrounded by his loving family, in Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Lundale, WV, a son of the late Stephen and Maddalene Veres Kiba, and had been a resident of the Medina area 37 years. Louis retired in 1984 from Ohio Brass Co., after 24 years service, where he was a Certified Welder. He was a member of Rittman Community Free Will Baptist Church, which he served as a Deacon, Firestone Memorial American Legion Post #449 in Akron, and the Medina County Veterans Administration. Louis served in the Army Air Force during World War II. Preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters; Survived by his wife, Dorothy Kiba, with whom he would have celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Dec. 2nd; one daughter and son-in-law, Chris and Kenny Cunningham, of Wadsworth, OH; two sons, Louis B. and Jeanne Kiba, Jr., of Smithville, OH, and Steve Kiba and Marinea, of Sharon Center, OH; two sisters, Irene Abin, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and Mary Gillerlain, of Suffolk, VA; one brother, Steven "Peco" Kiba, of Camden, SC; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Wed. at 1 p.m. in the Roberts Funeral Home, 9560 Acme Rd., Seville, OH with Pastor John Castle officiating. Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
