Obituary

Louis C. D'Angelo, Age 90, of Waynesburg, passed away Wed. morning in Aultman Hospital. He was born in Latrobe, PA, a son of the late Paul and Assunta Del Castello D'Angelo, and had been a Waynesburg resident most of his life. Louis was retired from Whitacre-Greer Fireproofing Co. in Waynesburg and previously was employed about 35 years at Natco, and also worked at Hercules Engines in Canton. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, St. James Men's Club and the former American-Italian Club. Preceded in death by six sisters and one brother, Annie, Rosie, Mary, Betty, Tillie, Julie, and Auggie. Survived by his wife, Mildred A. D'Angelo with whom he would have celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary on Nov. 13; one daughter and son-in-law, Suanne and Joe Chiurco, of Malvern; one son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Michelle D'Angelo, of Eustis, FL; three granddaughters and three great-grandsons. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sat. at 2 p.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
