Lorie Ann Miller,

age 69, of Canton, passed away suddenly on October 2, 2026. She was born on February 25, 1957, to the late Charles and Vera (Snyder) Boone. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Lorie was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Rick Miller, her infant son, brother Jerry R. Boone and sister Nancy C. Peters, niece, Kristen Danniger, nephew Kelly Peters and brother-in-law Fred Peters. Thanks to a chance encounter at Stadium Park, she met the love of her life and best friend, Rick. Together they created a beautiful life full of fun, laughs and so much love. She couldn’t wait to be reunited with him. Lorie is survived by her daughter, Alexandra Miller, and son, Noah Miller; brothers, Chuck (Pam) Boone, Don (Ledia) Boone, and Lonie (Patty) Boone; and many nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones. To know Lorie was to know that her children meant everything to her. To her, there was nothing more important in her life than Alexandra and Noah. She will live on forever through them. To know Lorie meant to know a childlike look at life, so many laughs, and so much love. May she finally know the peace she was searching for and be reunited with her beloved Rick. In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held. Her life will instead be remembered privately and lovingly by the family and friends whose lives they touched.
