Loretta F. Miller

Age 86, of Magnolia, passed away Sunday Dec. 17, 2017.  She was born Sept. 13, 1931, in Barnesville, OH, a daughter of the late Otto and Florence (McCort) Mahoney, and had been a Magnolia resident for 53 years.  Loretta was a Registered Nurse and had worked at Molly Stark and Union Hospitals.  She was a member of the American Nurses Association and the Auxiliary of the Sandy Valley Eagles.  Following high school she enrolled in the Naval Cadet Program.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Miller, on Jan.8, 1985, a daughter, Susan Estee, four brothers and two sisters.  Loretta is survived by two daughters and two sons, Cynthia (James) Fornash, Niki (Dan) Shisler, Donald (Carri) Miller, and Raymond (Julie) Miller; 11 grandchildren, Abby, Heidi, and Grant Adams, Christina Miller, Nick, Alex, Brooke, and Emily Miller, Megan, Loryn, and Mason Shisler; three great-grandchildren; a special friend, Jody Pariano and her Monday night card club.  Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at 10 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr.
