Lois V. Swanson,

age 101, of Canton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Born in Norton, Kansas, to Harry and Mabel Keene, Lois has been a resident of Canton for the last 55 years. She was a retired Plain Township school teacher and a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband Alton E. Swanson, her daughter Linda Pitts of Lansing, Michigan, and her three sisters; Neva, Mildred and Elsie. She is survived by her daughter Janice Swanson of Akron, grandson Derek Pitts of California, and two great grandsons, Andy and Vincent. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 AM in the Formert - Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home at 1803 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, Ohio. William Moody will be officiating. Burial at Warstler Cemetery will follow the service.
