Lois F. Hoot

Age 76, of Canton, passed away Thursday in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar.  She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Frank and Luella (Dunmire) Rice, and was a life resident.  Lois enjoyed doing crafts.  She is now "Together Again" with her husband, Richard L. "Dick" Hoot, who passed away on March 24, 2012.  Two brothers also preceded her in death, Gail and Raymond Rice.  Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Tammy Towe, of Clemson, SC, and Marie and Ray Truman, of Canton; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Blaine and Shelda Brown and Keith and Glenda Brown, all of Canton, and Will Henry, of Cleveland; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  According to Lois' wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
