Lisa E. Vissoc

Age 63, of Waynesburg, passed away Wed., July 17, 2024.  She was born Nov. 7, 1960 in Canton, a daughter of the late Jack and Maxine (Flesher) Weisburn, and was a life resident of Waynesburg.  Lisa was a 1979 graduate of Sandy Valley High School.   Lisa was a dispatcher for 17 years with CenCom, serving fire departments, EMT's, and police departments, and also serving 23 years as a dispatcher for VCOM.  She enjoyed being around her family, making quilts, and just driving around to see scenery and landscapes.  Lisa had so many friends and people who loved her.  She had the biggest heart and would help anyone who needed it.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Anthony Vissoc, Sr., on Nov. 2, 2017, and her brother, Bruce Weisburn, on March 7, 2018.  Lisa is survived by two daughters and one son, Ashley (Shawn) Bentley, Antoinette (Corey) Smalley, and Anthony Vissoc, Jr., and his fiancée, Celeste Flick; 10 grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, and Preston Metz, Jayden, Braxton, and Dallas Bentley, Abigail and Charlee Smalley, Vaida Vissoc, and Talia Flick; two sisters and one brother, Nancy Napples, Yvonne (Jim) James, and Eric (Erica) Weisburn; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on her husband's birthday, Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 5 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr. Michael Seifert as Celebrant.  Friends may call Thursday 3-5 p.m. before the Celebration.  Following the service, the family will receive friends at her sister Yvonne and Jim's' home, for a time of refreshment and reflection.
