Linda L. Sciury

Age 81, of Magnolia, passed away peacefully after a brief illness Saturday, January 6, 2024.  She was born June 12, 1942 in Canton, a daughter of the late Eddy Parker and Betty Puran, and was a life resident of Stark County.  Linda was a 1960 graduate of Lincoln High School.  She retired in 2012 from the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities, where she was a bus driver.  Previously she worked for The Timken Company, Echo Products, and various restaurants.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Sciury, and a grandson, Chase Faiello.  She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Parrish and Debbra (Dave) Faiello; five grandchildren, Jenna (Zach) Welker, Nina Parrish, Breeli Faiello, Demi Faiello, and Dante Faiello, and two great-grandchildren, Zade Welker and Mara Welker; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Per Linda's wishes, there will be no calling hours.  Private graveside services will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery.  In Linda's memory donations may be made to the Chase Faiello Scholarship Fund at any Bank of Magnolia location.
