Linda K. Milnes,

Age 80, of Massillon, passed away Tues., Nov. 25, 2025.  She was born July 30, 1945, in Canton, a daughter of the late John and Irene (Gakat) Aventino.  Linda was a 1963 graduate of Timken Vocational High School and retired from the Massillon Independent.  Previously she had worked at Diebold, Inc. as a Secretary and Dravo Marks Heavy Equipment Co.  Preceded in death by her husband, George Milnes, and two brothers, Thomas Aventino, Sr., and John Aventino.  Survived by her son, George (Shari) Milnes II; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Vanicek; and two brothers, Larry (Gerri) Aventino and Robert (Chris) Aventino.  A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 5, 2025, from 12-3pm at 1016 Medill Ave. NE in Massillon.
