Linda M. Gordon,

Age 84, of Canton, passed away Tues., Feb. 4, 2025.  She was born May 31, 1940, in Canton, a daughter of the late Fred and Marie (Pomesky) Scheurer.  Linda was a 1958 graduate of McKinley High School and retired as a Claims Processor for Aultcare, previously having worked at Harter Bank in downtown Canton in the 60s.  She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church and had been a member of the former Calvary Presbyterian Church. Linda was a member of Legacy Chapter #596, O.E.S, and traveled extensively all over the world.  Preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Scheurer and Patty Bennett, and two brothers, Richard and John Scheurer.  Survived by two daughters, Sharon (Shawn) Lorden, and Lori (Tom) Collier; one son, Craig Gordon; one sister, Barbara Nieporte; three grandchildren, Megan, Audrey, and Duncan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Sun. at 1pm in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  Private interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.  Friends may call Sun. from 11am to 1 pm in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda's name may be made to: John Knox Presbyterian Church, 5155 Eastlake St NW, North Canton, OH 44720, the Players Guild Theatre, 6000 Frank Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720, or the Canton Symphony Orchestra, 2331 17th St NW, Canton, OH 44708.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
