Linda D. Ballas

Age 57, of Canton, passed away Monday evening in her home.  She was born in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Jack and Irene (Shepherd) Coughlin, and had been a Canton resident 30 years.  Linda was a 1974 graduate of Mayfield High School.  She was preceded in death by her sons, Sean Louis Velenyi and Samuel Lee Ballas.  Survived by her sister, Debbie Bakos, of Lyndhurst, OH; her brother and sister-in-law, D. Pat and Susan Coughlin, of Largo, FL; two nephews, Patrick (and his wife, Jill) and Matt Coughlin; her long-time companion, Jeff Adams; her very special friends, Jean Friesel and Timmy Labus; and many beloved friends and loves along the way.  A Gathering for family and friends will be held Sat. from 2-3 p.m. in the Family Center of Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.
