Linda K. Bagent Age 67, of East Sparta, passed away early Saturday morning in Aultman Compassionate Care. She was born in Canton, a daughter of Katherine (Gamber) Thompson Baughman, of Malvern, and the late Thomas William Thompson, was raised in Malvern, and had been an East Sparta resident since 1969. Linda was a 1964 graduate of Malvern High School and a 1967 graduate of Aultman Hospital School of Nursing. She retired Feb. 6, 2010 from Aultman Hospital after 37 years service, where she was a Registered Nurse in the Psychiatric Unit. Linda was a member of East Sparta Christian Church, the Auxiliary of the East Sparta Volunteer Fire Dept., the Aultman School of Nursing Alumni Association, and also sang in the choir of North Industry Christian Church over 20 years. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and surviving besides her mother is her husband, Richard L. Bagent, with whom she celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary on June 10th; her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Christopher Hodge, two grandchildren Joslynne and Justynne, all of East Sparta; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Karen Thompson, of Malvern; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Andrew Bailey officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
