Lily E. King
Age 80, of Waynesburg, passed away Wed. evening, May 18, 2011, in Aultman Hospital. She was born in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Vittorio and Giulia Chiocca Marsili, and was a life resident. Lily was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lily enjoyed cooking, especially cookies, ravioli, and zucchini bread. She loved animals, especially cats. Preceded in death by two sisters, Annie Cascioli and Olga Malanca, a brother, Dean Marcili, and a granddaughter, Angelina Logozzo. Survived by her husband, Paul L. King, with whom she celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary on Jan. 7, 2011; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Gregory Huggins, and Juliana "Julie" and Vince Logozzo, all of Waynesburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Robin King, of Dover; one sister, Nellie Almasy, of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, David Huggins and his children, Amanda and Anthony, Matthew (Tina) Huggins and their children, Cole, Jaden, and Shane, Michael (Erica) Huggins and their son, Brock, Kristy and Kelly King, Vincent (Jessica) Logozzo and their son, Rocco, and Michael Logozzo; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Snoopy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lily's memory may be made to either St. James Catholic Church, 400 W.
