Lillian D. Steele

Age 88, formerly of Perry Township, passed away Thur., Sept. 18, 2025. She was born July 30, 1937, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Yenny) Hager. Lillian was a 1955 graduate of Sandy Valley High School. She took great pride in being the first football queen at Sandy Valley. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Steele. Survived by her son, William (Patricia Eshman) Steele; and her grandchildren, Maxwell (Sadie Shivers) Steele, and their daughter Lilah Jean Steele, and Mary (David Causey) Steele. Lillian enjoyed spending time with her family and taking cruises with Don (they took over 40). There will be no services. Condolences may be left at www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
