Laura Faye Cherrine

Age 72, of Canton, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, in Mercy Medical Center.  She was born in Moatsville, WV, a daughter of the late Gillespie and Geneva (Pritchard) Mayle, and had been a Canton resident over 50 years.  Laura had been employed 17 years at Molly Stark Hospital as a secretary.  She was a member of Canton South Nazarene Church.  Preceded in death by her husband of almost 43 years, Donald A. Cherrine, Sr., on Dec. 25, 2004, five brothers, Bretsel Mayle, Arlus Mayle, Donnie Mayle, Charles Mayle, and Henry Dean Mayle, and a half-brother, Raymond Mayle.  Survived by her children, Candie Crystal Cherrine and Donald Anthony "Tony" Cherrine, both of Canton, and many nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev.
