Larry D. Tope,

Age 85, of Waynesburg, passed away Mon., Sept. 15, 2025.  He was born Aug. 7, 1940, in Canton, a son of the late Orlo and Carrie "Helen" (Coffy) Tope.  Larry retired from U.S. Ceramic as a Tile Picker and was a member of Malvern Methodist Church.  Preceded in death by his wife, Vonnie Tope, and two brothers, Gerald and Tom Tope.  Survived by his daughter, Carrie (Timothy) Sawyer; his son, David (Tara) Tope; four grandchildren, Callie and Beau Sawyer and Thomas, Tyler and Ellie; and two brothers, Gary (Rosella) Tope and Dennis (Dreama) Tope.  Services will be held Tues. at 1pm in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home.  Friends may call two hours before the service, from 11am to 1pm in the funeral home.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
