Larry G. Offenberger

Age 77, of Waynesburg, passed away Wed., Nov. 29, 2023.  He was born April 9, 1946 in Canton, a son of the late Edgar and Lillian (Brand) Offenberger, and was a life resident of Waynesburg.  Larry was a 1966 graduate of Sandy Valley High School.  He was retired from Hercules Engines after 30 years as an engine assembler.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers, Carol Power, Ida Behringer, Marcia Zsiros, Ray, Robert, and Roy Offenberger.  He is survived by his wife Darlene G. Offenberger, with whom he celebrated their 20th Wedding Anniversary on May 21st; one daughter and two sons, Ruth (Angel) Espinoza, Larry Offenberger and Frank Offenberger; four step-children, Dion (Anna) Fisher, Preston Fisher, Tyson (Linda) Fisher, and Christina (Mike) Hill; one sister and one brother, Dorothy Zimbelman and Landel "Boze" (Mayrene) Offenberger; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor J. Andrew Riggs officiating.  Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
