IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kristen (Peters)
Danniger
March 26, 1968 – September 2, 2015
Kristen L. (Peters) Danniger
Age 47, of Avon Lake, OH, formerly of Canton, passed away Wed., Sept. 2, 2015, in the Cleveland Clinic after an extended illness. She was born in Canton, a daughter of Nancy (Boone) Peters, of Canton, and the late Frederick Peters, who died on Nov. 11, 2011, and had been an Avon Lake resident since 2001, previously residing in Sheffield Lake. Kristen was a 1986 graduate of McKinley High School, and a 1989 graduate of Hocking College with a Degree in Travel and Tourism. She had been employed as a travel agent for the AAA, but mostly she was a hard working stay at home mom. She was a proud mom, and very active in her sons lives, and enjoyed family fishing trips to Canada. Kristen was proud to be an organ donor and was happy that by giving of herself, others could continue to live. Her faith in God sustained her during her long struggle to live. She also was preceded in death by her infant twin sister, Carrie Ann Peters, and grandparents, Charles and Vera Boone and Lucille Bohl, and Uncle Jerry Boone. Surviving besides her mother is her husband, Scott Danniger, with whom she would have celebrated their 19th Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 14th, and their sons, William and Ethan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Colin and Karla Peters, and Kelly and Laurie Peters, aunts and uncles, Lonie and Pat Boone, Charles and Pam Boone, Don and Ledia Boone, and Lori and Rick Miller; nieces and nephews, Zara Balbo, Claire Peters, Michael (Tara) Crawford, and Jacob and Rachel Miller; cousins, Chase and Jill Boone, Leisyl Boone, Lindley Orlando, Noah and Alexandra Miller; and numerous other cousins; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charlotte and Richard Danniger, a sister-in-law, Sharon (Scott) Miller, and a niece and nephew, Rachel and Jacob Miller; and a special friend, Denette Edwards. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Kara Stultz Costello officiating. Friends may call Wed. 6-8 p.m. at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home and Thursday 10-11 a.m. at the church before the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kristen's memory may be made to the Kristen Peters Danniger Lung Transplant Fund at any First Merit Bank. Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
