Kevin M. Materna

Age 33, of Dennison, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 29, 2022.  He was born May 15, 1989 in Dover, a son of Julie Brinkman of New Philadelphia and the late Randy Scott Materna, and was a life resident of the Mineral City and New Philadelphia area.  Kevin had attended Sandy Valley High School.  He was an exceptional artist and enjoyed doing drawings of many different things.

In addition to his father, Kevin was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Simmons and his grandmother, Ramona Brinkman.  Surviving besides his mother, is his long-time partner, Michelle Hayhurst, two sons, Keaton and Kendall Materna; two sisters, Kelsey Simmons and Jennifer Simmons; five brothers, Kyler Brinkman-Foster, Kristopher Simmons, Kaleb Simmons, Kurtis Simmons, and Jimmy (Tawny) Simmons.
