Kenneth W. Ross, Sr.

Age 83, of Dover, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022.  He was born July 2, 1938 in Mineral City, a son of the late Ira and Pearl (Smart) Ross, and had been a Dover resident for 20 years. He had attended Mineral City Schools, and was retired from the East Ohio Gas Co.  Ken was a member of the Sandy Valley Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Grace M. Ross, on March 23, 1997, and two children, Johnny and Debbie Ross, two sisters and two brothers, Judy Grove, Shirley Black, Dale and Ira Ross, Jr.  He is survived by one daughter and one son, Jane Taylor and Kenneth (Linda) Ross, Jr., two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, William K. Petersheim, and Kenneth W. Ross III, and his children, Kenneth W. Ross IV and Skyler Ross, and a step-granddaughter, Amy Williams, one sister and one brother, Wilma Wheeler and James Ross.

Services will be held Sat. at 3 p.m. in Sandy Valley Church of God with Pastor Shirley Kasler officiating.  Friends may call at the church Sat. from 2-3 p.m. before the service.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.  The family respectfully requests that masks be worn.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
