Kenneth T. Render Age 76, a resident of the Canton Christian Home, passed away there Wednesday evening. He was born in Zoarville, a son of the late Lorin and Mary (Swartz) Render, and had been an East Sparta resident most of his life. He and Paula lived in Dover from 2007-2010, when they moved to the Christian Home. Kenny was a 1955 graduate of Sandy Valley High School, where he was All-County and Honorable Mention All-Ohio in Basketball his senior year. He retired in 1997 from Gradall Industries, Inc., in New Philadelphia, after 41 years service, where he worked in the maintenance department. Kenny was a member of East Sparta Christian Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernie Render. Survived by his wife, Paula Render, with whom he celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary on March 28th; one daughter, Lori Render, of Oregon, OH; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark Render, of Wooster, Jeff and Joan Render, of East Sparta, and Dave and Chris Render, of Canton; a sister-in-law, Patricia Render, of Newton, AL; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Samantha (Jack) Bryant and their son, Benjamin, Kerry Render and her children, Cadence, Seth, Gavin, and Presley, Joshua Render, and Natalie Render. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Canton Christian Home with Pastor Doug Lewis and Chaplain Ron Iwanusa officiating. Interment in East Sparta Cemetery.
