KENNETH L. HUFF,

Age 69, of Waynesburg, passed away after battling cancer, Thur., Oct. 20, 2016. Born in Bowerston, a son of the late Fred and Dessie (Briggs) Huff, he had been a Waynesburg resident for 48 years.  Ken was a 1965 graduate of Conotton Valley High School and retired from U.S. Ceramic Tile Co. after many years of service as a Line Supervisor.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Magnolia and had been an advisor for Carroll Co. 4-H for 12 years.  Ken enjoyed working on Hit and Miss Engines and displaying them at shows; working on and showing classic cars and working with Haflinger horses.  An avid outdoorsman, he liked hunting, farming, beekeeping, and fishing on Lake Mohawk and Lake Erie with friends and family.  Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Huff, on Nov. 8, 2014.  Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amie and Scott Snyder; his son, Tom Huff; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Hattie and Bob Briggs, Linda Sue and Charlie Theiss, and Bill and Sue Hullihen; his brother and sister-in-law Eugene and Eleanor Huff.  Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Ken was a loving grandfather to his six grandchildren, Sierra Huff, Courtney and Troy Snyder, Drake and Collette Ripple, and Jessica Goyetche.  Services will be held Tues. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Riggs officiating.  Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.  Friends may call Mon. from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ken's memory may be made to: the Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership, PO Box 55, Mineral City, Ohio 44656.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
