REV. KENNETH W. ANDERSON,

Age 72, of Massillon, passed away Fri., Feb. 6th, 2015.  Born in Johnstown, PA, a son of the late William and Thankful (Layton) Anderson, he loved sailing, camping and canoeing.  Kenneth graduated from Euclid High School in 1960, Otterbein College in 1964, and United Theological Seminary in 1968.  He retired in 2005 after having served the following United Methodist Churches: Leon, Bulah, and Gageville, in Ashtabula Co.; Harmony and Scioto in Bucyrus, OH; East Fairfield, Shreve, West Lafayette, and Magnolia, OH.  Preceded in death by his brother, William Anderson, Jr.  Survived by his wife, Mary Anderson, with whom he celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary on June 18th; two daughters and sons-in-law, Maureen and Scott McDowell, and their children, Ellie and Lily, of Brownsville, OR, and Carol and Kurt Reddick, and their children Drew and Rhianna, of Medina, OH; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Katie Anderson, and their children Isabel and Logan, of Hurricane, WV; one sister and brother-in-law, Suanne and Tim Lutz, of Nevada City, CA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn and Sandy Anderson, of Mentor, OH, and Dennis and Lynn Anderson, of Carson City, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service will be held Sat., March 7th, in Church of the Lakes United Methodist.  The family will receive friends in the church hall after the service.  The Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kenneth's memory may be made to the church or charity of your choice.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
