KELLY J. STRONG, Age 64, of Mineral City, passed away Wed. morning in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Dover, OH, a son of the late Calvin and Annie Smith Strong, he had been a life resident of Mineral City. He retired in 2004 from U.S. Ceramic Tile Co. in East Sparta after 10 years service. Kelly was a member of Mineral City United Methodist Church, served on the Magnolia and Mineral City Volunteer Fire Departments and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan and model train enthusiast. Survived by his wife, Brenda Strong, with whom he celebrated their 20th Wedding Anniversary on July 18; his Aunt Hazel Smith, of Mineral City; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Mark Gross officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery.
