Kay L. Weisen

Age 85, of Magnolia, passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022.  She was born May 27, 1937 in East Sparta, a daughter of the late Walter and Kenna (Harrison) Basford, and was a life resident of this area.  Kay was a 1955 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and was a retired clerical worker for Williams Toyota Lift in East Sparta.  She was a member of North Industry Christian  Church, and had played the organ at Shepherd of The Valley, North Industry Christian and East Sparta Christian Churches.

Kay is survived by her husband, Arlow E. "Bud" Weisen, with whom she celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary on May 12th, two daughters and one son, Lisa (Ken) Reyes-Wilmoth, Suzanne (Dorian) Myers, and Stephen (Karen) Weisen, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and two brothers, William Basford and Larry (Paulie) Basford.

Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Steve Kimbrel officiating.  Friends may call Wed. 6-8 p.m.  Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Condolences may be made to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
